Ancient forces battled one another, destroying nations, continents, and themselves. After numerous ends of days the world regrew into somewhat what it is today. Many nations have banded together to keep worse threats at bay while attempting to out maneuver each other while raiding ancient ruins. Rhadamanthus, a city of great magics and otherworldly wonders, and Tebres, a heavily regulated land of religious zealots, currently have an uneasy truce after years of fighting. Horrible bird riders from Zolenis terrorize the peoples of Jaminor, Dakmani, Ignes, and Calmin.
The goblin nation of Albinor, once refugees, now rulers of a mysteriously abandoned city and are led by their fierce queen and her devilish servitors. Halkin is magical metropolis built within the ruins of four different civilizations, stealing secrets from the past. Ruel’s populace battles their mythology daily while fending off invasions from the genie-controlled land of Pocta and their Jharen Warlock allies. A dangerous truce between the living and the dead keeps the lands of Orlosh all but closed to outsiders, the inhabitants fearing the ancient undead waking and claiming the land again. The Dragon men of Ioes have liberated neighboring kingdoms of Dorche, Galadon, and Corelina and now claim ownership of their lands with disastrous results, while their sibling land of Io has retreated into seclusion.
The lands of Tremnar, once beautiful picturesque mountains are covered in unyielding ice which seems to be spreading to other lands. The people of Minto warn outsiders to learn riddles before venturing within their lands due to jealous sphinx prowling the roads. The elves of Grenba face internal struggles as new royalty rises to power and scions thought lost have returned while the Priests of Folgotish have been attempting to bring their fierce deity to other lands.
The lands below the world know as the Deep have had their share of turmoil as well, Dragon worshiping elves have set to conquer and conscript the dwellers in the Deep with unknown goals from their supreme Draconic goddess. The pirate lords of Denik watch the horizon as sails all but forgotten by time have been seen rising from the depths and the lands of Elpas have numerous evolving dragon issues. Seen on the border of the Mountain Kingdoms, the strange invading forces from the land of Nabesh bring their crystal magics and monsters to bear. As all the world seems set for chaos an old sect knights, vowed to silence until their god is resurrected have started to receive signs. Other lands across the borders of the maps and planes have become embroiled within the politics of known world, some seek to help solve the conflicts, others seek to take control themselves.
This is the campaign setting that started back in 2007 when I ran a few sessions for a number of coworkers and has evolved into my go to world for adventures and stories. I still have tons of work to do on it, but i am proud of how far it has come. I am sure i will change things hundreds of times before getting anything published but this is a good start.
